Gazebos for Great Brand Exposure

To a significant extent, the gazebo has replaced the popularity of large umbrellas in outdoor spaces, be it in a private garden, on an uncovered patio, or at well-attended outdoor events and expos. Nowadays, gazebos are sturdy and stable, once assembled, and are also portable.

Cantilevered umbrellas are not portable. Poles of other models may be pushed into the soil or placed into a heavy, solid umbrella base that is not easily portable. Plastic bases, filled with water to anchor an umbrella, often proved ineffective.

Increased Use

Umbrellas will probably always be useful. We are just highlighting possible reasons for a marked increase in the use of gazebos, which have various purposes and advantages, some of which also apply to smaller coverings, such as umbrellas.

·         Gazebos, available from XCO Group, are portable, easy to assemble, and can be used almost anywhere

·         Optional accessories are also on offer at XCO Group, leading corporate suppliers and branding specialists to the sports and corporate sectors in South Africa.

·         Accessories include two types of handy, really practical carry bags (standard and deluxe) into which your model of choice fits for convenient carrying, keeping all components together securely, plus a purpose-made gazebo toolkit to make assembly and dismantling even easier and quicker

·         They provide shade and shelter from the hot South African sun

·         They are available in various sizes, shapes, fabrics, and colours

·         Spacious

·         More stable than most umbrellas

·         May be ordered with frame and canopy only, completely open on all sides, or with one or more half or full walls, which provide additional protection from wind and weather

·         High visibility makes a particular gazebo easy to find

·         Ample space to carry eye-catching branding

·         Ideal to accommodate company representatives at expos, shows, events, outdoor functions, and sports matches

·         The perfect place in which to meet and greet existing and potential customers and address their questions and queries about your organisation’s products or services – face-to-face, dispense company or branded product brochures, literature, promotional material, and business cards, whilst collecting business leads for later contact and follow-up.

Yesteryear

In contrast to today’s portable gazebos, those in outdoor spaces long ago were permanent structures with open sides that usually featured a balcony type railing. These decorative structures were architectural features that mirrored the styles of the time, located in grand gardens and parks, and used as outdoor shelters, sometimes with built-in seating, where people could relax.

The inventor of this structure is unknown, but the earliest known, recorded use of “gazebo” is credited to John and William Halfpenny, a pair of British architects, who wrote a book in 1750, dealing with the Chinese taste in rural architecture at that time.

Back to Today’s Models

People, particularly customers, will always appreciate the opportunity to meet and converse with knowledgeable company representatives in person – talking to real, living, breathing, thinking, and speaking warm human bodies.

Convenient and cost-effective as modern technological devices may be, voices and self-service prompts recorded on automated response systems and similar technology driven call and query taking methods sometimes does not quite cut it for some on each and every occasion that they need to contact a company.

Your personnel’s presence, located beneath and close to an expertly branded, corporate gazebo, enables those who show an interest in your organisation to find, approach, and interact with your concern’s frontline staff members, comfortably and conveniently.
