Article - Robust XCO Gazebos | XCO Group

We’d like to begin with a parable about the gazebo, which was most often used as an ornamental feature and a place to relax in gardens and public parks. These fixed structures were also used as temporary shelters from the rain when people were caught unawares by inclement weather. Like all inventive tales, ours also begins with “Once upon a time…”

Once upon a time, but not very long ago, there lived three aspirant entrepreneurs, who all sought to establish and grow their business enterprises. Although they were none the wiser at the time, they were all to learn a great deal from one another, and their shared experience in their fledgeling attempts to market their respective businesses and brands to as wide a variety of potential customers – at an expo.

The First Entrepreneur

The trio all reserved equal amounts of space at the expo, where they sought to promote their companies, products, and services. Entrepreneur One, who knew nothing of marketing, set down a lone table and a chair on his allocated space. Upon his table, he placed a few flyers, which he’d printed in black and white with his photocopy machine. To prevent his little piles of flyers from being carried off in the breeze, since he had no shelter (gazebo), they were held down with a few stones that he’d picked up on his site.

There he sat, with the sun burning down upon his bald spot since he had no overhead protection from a gazebo’s canopy. By midday, the bottled water he’d brought along with him was warm and devoid of its refreshing qualities. Entrepreneur One felt drained, depressed, and despondent. No one stopped at his lonely table.

Entrepreneur Two

Entrepreneur Two was somewhat wiser and better versed in the ways of marketing exposure at expos. He set up a large, branded umbrella to shield himself and his colour-printed brochures from the worst ravages of the South African sun.

He’d brought along a branded cooler box to keep his drinking water cold. Additionally, he also had professionally printed business cards and branded ballpoint pens to hand out to potential customers. This chap thought he’d survive his day quite well, whilst bringing in some solid sales leads with which to grow his business.

A Wolf-Like Threat

These two hopeful, unsheltered folks without gazebos were unaware that an infamous, wolf-like creature was on the prowl. It was ready to target and blow away the rudimentary marketing aids they’d brought along to the expo, wiping out their barely noticed businesses. The Third Entrepreneur knew of the threat that this great creature’s heavy and destructive breath posed, but he was unperturbed.

The Third and Wisest

Entrepreneur Three was indeed the wisest of the trio. There he was at the expo, well set up within the shade, shelter and protection of his fine, branded gazebo, which he’d obtained from a leading, one-stop brand customisation specialist known as the XCO Group.

The queues of people who called in at his customised gazebo were impressed with his branding solution, which they recognised instantly and trusted. It was clear to everyone that Three stood by his business and his representatives, who helped him to man his busy promotional gazebo stand.

Moreover, his portable XCO Group gazebo was sturdy, robust, and made of quality materials, which were so skilfully printed by XCO Group’s printing and embroidery section. He was confident that the unit would withstand an onslaught from the greedy, giant wolf-like creature and its mighty burning breath and so it did, indeed.

In due course, Wolf arrived, blew One and Two’s attempts at promoting their enterprises away, into the distance. They rushed to Three’s state-of-the-art gazebo, escaping the destructive wrath of the opportunistic destroyer of marketing potential, vowing to return to a future expo with their own beautifully branded gazebos, which would be designed and custom-printed by XCO Group.
